The Recent Supreme Court Nomination - Let's Pray Church

Just today I learned that President Trump has nominated Judge Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court to replace Anthony Kennedy, and the liberals are not happy.

According to an article found on Yahoo News, written by Alex Nazaryan, Andrew Romano and Laina Yost, Democrats are planning to fight against President Trump’s nomination. The article states that, “Gupta, who currently leads the Leadership Conference, which advocates for a liberal judiciary, called Kavanaugh “a direct threat to our civil and human rights” and “unfit to serve on our nation’s highest court.”

People do not like what Judge Kavanaugh stands for at all, and because he supports life, and because he supports our U.S. Constitution as it was written, the democrats see him as a threat.

Currently, Brett Kavanaugh is an United States Circuit Judge of the U.S Court Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit. He is a conservative, and is known for his constitutionalist stance. Kavanaugh is a firm believer in “reading and interpreting the laws and Constitution as it is written,” which is a blessing.

The Constitution should be taken and interpreted as it was written, and we the people should know what our Constitution actually says because people can say out of their mouths that a certain amendment supports their stance on this or that, but we can’t just take their word for it. We have to know it for ourselves, and if they are lying, something can be done about it.

According to the article, some of the issues that are at stake here if the democrats were to win this fight against the nomination and end up somehow getting one of their own in the Supreme Court, include the issue of abortion, and the rights for the LGBTQ community.

The Phyllis Schlafly Eagles are confident that this nomination is President Trump’s promise to Phyllis Schlafly being fulfilled - “In 2016, on the day she endorsed him, candidate Donald Trump promised Phyllis Schlafly that he would defend the conservative platform of the GOP and would nominate constitutionalist judges across the board. We are confident that this pick meets that promise and are excited for the Senate to move quickly on his confirmation.”

We need to pray urgently that God’s will will be done in this matter, rather that means that Judge Kavanaugh will indeed sit in the Supreme Court or not. We need to invite God into everything that will happen and take place in the coming days, concerning this nomination. The push back from the democratic party, wisdom and direction for Trump, and covering for Judge Kavanaugh.

Dear God,

I lift up this nomination before you, asking that your will be done. We invite you into the affairs of man, and specially this recent Supreme Court nomination.

Give wisdom and direction to President Trump, cover and bestow wisdom upon Judge Kavanaugh, and move upon the hearts of all those involved, even the democrats and those who are worried about this nomination interfering with what they want done.

Lord, we know that in the midst of everything we see and hear, you still sit on the throne, you’re in complete control, and you are Sovereign.

We thank you for how you’re going to move, and how you are moving even now.

In Jesus’ Name,
Amen.

I wanna encourage someone out there to stay informed about what's going on in our world so you can know how to pray for our nation on a regular basis. I encourage myself the same thing. We want to continually invite God into the affairs of men, and that His will be done.

Thanks For Reading, and Have A Beautiful Week.
