A Poem - He Will Never Leave You

A couple years ago I wrote my first three poems ever and I wanted to share one in particular with you that I wrote based on someone's personal testimony. It's entitled, " He Will Never Leave Me."


He will never leave you
You may have been abandoned
Beat up
Left for dead
By someone you trusted
Or someone you didn't know
In both situations
He will never leave you

Whether you are nine years old
Or twenty-nine years old
If you're His child
He will watch over you
No matter how far you run
No matter how much you mess up
He is still there
Waiting for you
With open
Loving arms
Waiting for you to realize
He cares for you
He loves you
Through it all
No matter what
He will never leave you
